Semi-Dedicated Trap 12g Over and Under model MK38 Shotgun from Miroku. However, NOTHING at all to prevent using it for ANY other discipline including Live Quarry.
30” (760mm) fixed choke barrels at slightly lose ¾ and Full restrictions. Standard 2 ¾” (70mm Chambers). Stock length measures to 14 ¼” (362mm) giving an overall 47” dead (1195mm). Weighs in at 7 Lbs 11 oz (3.489 Kg) so enough to help with absorbing a lot of any recoil.
Beaver Tail style Forend for additional grip as it fills the hand well.
Generally Excellent overall condition. The only real things of note is a small inch or so light scratch to the l/h side of the stock. It will likely near if not completely lift out. As it is the light has to catch to be particularly noticeable. Also the previous owner appears to have taken a penknife to the ¾” (19mm) after-market Kick-Eze Recoil pad. Not the neatest bit of trimming but presumably to allow a cleaner lift into the shoulder. I can easily smooth this down to a better finish. Beavertail Forend for a good grip and generally Very Nice Cross Grain Highlights to the Strong Straight Grained Stock.
Bright Finished Action almost entirely covered with Scrollwork Engraving. All chequering is still nice and crisp too with Minimal cast. As such this will likely shoot from either shoulder. The gun has done little since brand new and I suspect it is a Grade 1 example. No engraving to the action top shoulders or trigger guard. Out of interest, brand new today, the self-same gun retails at close to £2000. This dates back to 1995 production and a time many people consider some of their best. For the guns condition this offers an excellent saving on new and WILL, no doubt, last just as long.
