IGI DOMINO 12G OVER AND UNDER SHOTGUN.

Over and Under 12G Domino Boxlock Ejector with Single Selective Trigger Shotgun from IGI. Anyone seriously looking will already realise what SUPERB quality guns these really are. 29 1/8” (735mm) fixed chokes barrels at ¾ and Full with Standard 2 ¾” (70mm) Chambers. GREAT for longer shots with a tighter pattern and MORE than adequate for any general shooting, even wildfowl in the right hands. You REALLY do NOT need anything bigger. People could and still can clear the skies with 2 ½” cartridges let alone anything bigger.

Stock pull is a good 14 3/8” (365mm) bringing an overall length of 46 ½” (1180mm) and weighs in at 7 Lbs 9 oz (3.43 kg). That is including the ¾” (19mm) Recoil Pad.

½” (12mm) Sporting sighting rib with double beads, Rear Brass with a High Viz Red Front to line up on.

I HAVE had a number of guns through that are EXACTLY the same but under different names. I have sold these engraved as BSA as well as Bettinsoli. I actually have an example in stock at the time of posting this advert. The self-same type of timber  (Maple Walnut) with the exact same Palm Swell and Fox or Skip Cut Chequering. Semi-Beavertail Forend with the Vent Slots for faster barrel cooling and the exact same Action. Right down to the Three Point Cross Bolt Lock up and Scroll with Flower Head Engraving. Just SUPERBLY WELL MADE guns. I shudder to think what they would be new today as they are a LOT of gun!

WORRIED ABOUT STEEL SH-T? DO PLEASE READ TO THE BOTTOM:

Back to the Steel SH-T:

THERE ARE more and more None Toxic Shot alternatives being produced. WITH near matching performances to traditional lead and close to, if not matching pressures. Take a look at Horton Gunmakers for their own entry into this debacle of modern day shooting. IF its so lethally deadly to shooters and game eaters how is it every old lead water main supply pipe is not getting ripped out and replaced? To my mind it’s a DISGRACE that the shooting industry did not simply ask that one simple question. NO, they saw an excuse to charge a fortune and that mainly to the detriment of the quarry. Just my opinion …..for what its worth?

Anyway, take a look for yourself:

NOW, to TRY and help speed up availability I WILL also suggest that YOU pass on details to everyone you know who shoots. Then ALL of us start to ask whoever we buy from why they are not DEMANDING cartridges made in this material? Basically VOTE with your WALLET. YES, it will take a little time for everything to filter through but patience IS a virtue. It also allows everyone who wants to keep hold of their ‘old favourite’ for the rest of their lives. Even pass it on to the next generation and hopefully beyond!

On that note I AM looking into the possibility of stocking some direct from Steve at Hortons.                                                     RING for an update and keep checking the web site.
