BSA R12 CLX BOLT ACTION PCP AIR RIFLE WALNUT STANDARD

Available in two lengths, Carbine and the Shorter Super Carbine versions. Along with a choice of three Minelli of Italy produced stocks. Walnut, Black ‘Soft Touch’ Synthetic and the slightly more expensive Black Pepper Laminate. Currently available in both the main / usual options of .177 (4.5mm) and .22 (5.5mm). Additional calibre options will hopefully follow.

Building on the success of the much-loved R10SE. The new R12 CLX Bolt action only enhances the classic features of its predecessor. The new additional key  improvements giving this new variant even greater levels of performance.

All Designed, Developed, and Manufactured HERE in the UK at BSA Head Quarters, in Birmingham, England. Taking advantage of the very best in new design and prototyping processes. All the time keeping the core values of the R10SE firmly at the forefront. Also engaging with the expert designers at Minelli Rifle Stocks in Italy. All to ensure delivery of a Brand New stock design that was still clearly a “BSA”. The end result completely meeting the brief and desires.

Key changes include the use of our now tried and tested Mono-block platform.

This alone reduces components and complexity while improving reliability and efficiency. The CLX model uses a 12-shot magazine system with the additional safety features of a ‘cocked’ indicator. Following heavy consumer feedback opposed to the current trend for side levers. As such this model comes with the traditional BSA cherished bolt action operation.

Air efficiency also much improved with an all-new regulator.

The standard 200cc air bottle remains unchanged. However the New Stock design also allows for a larger 280cc or 400cc bottle with zero modification needed. Also, by adjusting the position of the pre fitted Sling studs, a Bi-pod is easily fitted too. All without interfering with the position of the Quick fill system.

The use of higher graded materials and components.

Stainless-Steel pellet probes. A clearer, larger pressure gauge to make reading air pressure in the rifle easier. All going towards a Rifle that keeps the spirit of the R10SE but shares very few components from it. In reality, the only major components now still shared being the Excellent Trigger and Guard. To complete the spec. one of the BSA world-renowned hand chambered, crowned and choked cold hammer forged barrels. Very possibly the most accurate air rifle barrel available.

The CLX magazines have a 12 shot capacity and also include a shot countdown window.

Ensuring you have full visibility and control of how many shots you have left. The rifle supplied with an additional second / spare magazine as standard too.

The R12 CLX Bolt Action comes fitted with our CCS (Customer configurable shroud) system to allow YOU the choice.

As standard / supplied with a shrouded silencer fitted. For those wishing to use a larger diameter objective lens ‘scope’. This shroud is easily removed leaving only the Moderator with all the required components supplied in the box. This in turn gives a greater distance between the actual barrel and scope bell etc.
