A great well-made and very well balanced shotgun from one of Germany’s best names. Today a Merkel shotgun will set you back around £8000 for something new. It’s not that long ago I sold a 28g S/S with a retail price tag of over £20K. That SHOULD give you an idea of just what quality these guns are.
Built to balance and handle well these guns certainly do feel good to use with years of trouble free shooting.
This gun comes with standard game rib on 28″ barrels fixed at 1/4 and 3/4 chokes. A very strong action with a top locking cross pin ensures the gun is as safe as it can be. The 14 1/2″ straight grained stock is not far from straight too. It may well accommodate a left handed shot too.
These are great guns for the money and shoot exceptionally well.
