Pre-Used Full Bore Rifle Stock ready to drop any Long Action Calibre BSA Rifle straight in. This is Exactly the Same Length to accommodate a .270 and similar length rifle actions. I tried it against and even bonnier rifle currently here in stock. Could be a CF II / CF 2 Specific but I SUSPECT any similar version rifle will fit. All you can do is simply try your gun in it and check. If not, then as per T’s & C’s you can return it.
YES, it’s looking slightly old to the chequering. YES, there are a few Light / Superficial marks to the stock. However: IT IS OLD…as ARE the rifles now.
A Deluxe version with the Rosewood Grip Cap and For-end Tip. The Chequering to the R/H For-end section has some minor damage. Check out the appropriate image. Its nothing much. The rest of the grip areas could benefit from a re-cut. However, NOTHING at all stopping it simply being swapped over and then straight back out. Original Lines are still pretty clear and more than easy enough to touch up.
NOT an easy find these days. As time keeps ticking by its only ever going to get worse too. I think, to date, I have been asked at least a half dozen times for a stock like this. Sadly (SODS LAW DICTATES) I never manage to have one available… Until NOW. That is IF you are quick enough.
Actually, a Highly Decorative Example too. Colour Contrast is WAY MORE than Good. Plenty of Pattern detail too.
Main Action Screws are JUST under 8″. I measure 7 31/32nds of an Inch (201mm) CENTRES: THAT IS CENTRE TO CENTRE / front to front / back-to-back of the two holes.
Anyone in need of a secondary / back up / replacement stock, wanting a ‘swap out’ for whatever reason? It takes about a minute to do so. The usual Textured Grip areas for an Anti-Slip hold regardless of the weather etc. A few Very Light / Minor marks but I’ve seen worse on guns after 2 or 3 outings! Absolutely nothing even remotely close to drastic.
